Discover True Passion

PASSION.  A strong feeling or emotion; an irrational but irresistible motive for a belief and/or action; an intense desire; a deep devotion and earnest love. Regardless of the word you use to describe PASSION, it is an extreme and, at the very least, an out of the ordinary emotion!

Passion.  A necessary part of life.  Every human being is born with the ability to experience it.  It is what separates us from all other creatures.

Passion.  It is synonymous with love, but not the way most would think.  It is not a sexual love but a sacrificial love, a love that takes no consideration for oneself but rather gives of oneself for another.

Passion.  The Passion of Christ teaches us true passion—a true love that continues to love even though the one(s) we love don’t deserve it.

Women of PASSIONS is all about passion—giving love without demanding love, showing love without seeing love, experiencing love when unwarranted.

Each one of us have a need for passion—a need for love.  Rather than requiring others to give love to us, we focus on giving love to others.  In our passion to become more Christlike with every new day, our imperfect love grows more perfect.

To Women of PASSIONS, the word “passion” fails to raise eyebrows.  We see passion as an expression of Christ’s love for us.  The media exploits sexual intimacy and ties it to true passion.  The word may be controversial to some—to us it is a necessary part of who and what we are.

Passion expresses an irresistible motive for the pursuit of Christ. While so many women are burdened with life’s challenges (i.e. marriage, children, finances, careers, social pressures, etc.) Women of PASSIONS has the answer.

While so many women lose focus and find themselves lacking intense desire and deep devotion to anything, we have found the key to fulfilling our need to express true passion.

Are you one of those women who have lost focus in life? Do you feel an emptiness?  Are you overwhelmed with life and all its busyness?

The answer for us all is to get back to the basics of living a life with focus, with commitment, and with passion—passion for truth, passion for life, passion for boldly taking a stand for what is right.

Discover Your Passion

What do you love to do?  What do you do best?  What is your forte? Are you an encourager? Are you a teacher?  Are you a leader?  Are you a homemaker?  Are you a caregiver? Are you a decorator?  Are you a hostess?  Are you an organizer?  … you don’t know?

It is likely that what you enjoy doing most is your God-given passion.  The Bible talks about this. “We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.” (Romans 12:6-8)

In other words, the thing you do well is the source of your passion. And, when you begin to do that thing with which you have been gifted, you will find true fulfillment—true passion.

The Apostle Paul said, “… But each man has his own gift from God; one has this gift, another has that." (1 Corinthians 7:7)

When we use our gifts to serve others just as Christ served us through His “Passion” (His suffering on the cross and giving of Himself to us), God will provide us with the strength and the ability to do what He calls us to do!

“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ…” (1 Peter 4:10-11)
